Judgment
Alleging interference by respondent No.3 in the civil disputes pending between the petitioner and respondents Nos.4 and 5, by calling the petitioner to the police station and threatening him to settle the civil disputes in respect of the petitioner's property, the present writ petition has been filed.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home has placed on record a copy of FIR No.357 of 2026, dated 18.08.2026, registered against the petitioner herein, and submits that the investigation is under progress and that the respondent police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties.
In view of the above, the respondent police are directed to complete the investigation strictly in accordance with law and they shall not pressurize or compel the petitioner to settle the civil dispute with the unofficial respondents.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
