Alleging interference by respondent No.4 with the petitioners' life and liberty and calling them to the police station and insisting to settle civil dispute in respect of the land admeasuring Survey Nos.445, 446, 447, 449, 450, 451 and 453 to an extent of Ac.1.30 gts., situated at Peddadagada Village, Chinambavi Mandal, Wanaparthy District, this writ petition has been filed.

2.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the first petitioner has filed a complaint dated 23.07.2026, but the respondent police instead of registering the case are interfering with the civil dispute and are pressurizing the petitioner to settle the dispute.

3.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the first petitioner dated 23.07.2026, the same has been forwarded to the investigating officer and the respondents have given the subject land on lease to Pujari Narsimha, Gopaldinne Nrasimha and Boilu Krishnaiah and are taking lease amounts and that the petitioners are not in physical possession of the land and also that the dispute is between the petitioners and third parties and the same is pending with the Additional Collector vide File No.F/986/2023 and thereafter complaint of the first petitioner has been closed as 'civil in nature'. It is denied that the respondents are trying to interfere or settle the dispute between the parties.

4.

However, this Court finds that there is no unofficial respondent in this writ petition and therefore without making any comment on the merits of the issue between the petitioners and third parties in respect of the subject property, this Court directs the respondent police not to interfere with the subject land except in accordance with the law.

5.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

6.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
