Judgment
Mr. Ram Prakash Gupta resident of 3/18, Gandhi Nagar, Agra has sent the present letter Petition to this Tribunal complaining that M/s Raj Thermoformers Pvt. Ltd., Katra Vajirkhan (Subhash Dal Mill Compound) Foundary Nagar, Agra and M/s Prism Manufacturers, B-1615, Foundary Nagar, Agra are illegally manufacturing plastic and thermocol plates, cups, glasses etc., for sale in violation of environmental norms.
In view of the allegations of violation of environmental norms made in the application, we consider it appropriate to constitute and direct the Joint Committee of representatives of State PCB and Taz Trapezium Authority and District Magistrate, Agra to look into the grievances of the applicant and take such remedial action as may be required after following due process of law. The State PCB will be the Nodal agency for coordination and compliance. The Joint Committee may meet within four weeks, undertake site visit, look into the grievances of the applicant and take requisite action and thereafter furnish factual and action taken report within two months by e-mail at [email protected] preferably in the form of searchable PDF/OCR Support PDF and not in the form of Image PDF, before the Ld. Registrar General, National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi who may, if necessary, put up the matter before the Bench for further directions.
The application is disposed of accordingly.
A copy of this order, along with a copy of the complaint, be forwarded to the State PCB, Taz Trapezium Authority and District Magistrate, Agra by e-mail for compliance.
