Prakash Yadav vs State of Haryana

This OA is registered on the basis of the letter petition sent through e-mail by one Prakash Yadav Village and Post Kharkhara, District Rewari (Haryana). The complaint made in the letter petition is that waste water of industrial area of Bhiwadi, Dharuheda, Rewadi Rajasthan, which passes through a non-functional STP of Haryana Shahri Vikas Pradhikaran, Rewari, is discharged into River Sahibi and on the lands of Village Khaliawas, Khatawali, Rajpura, Alamgeerpur creating a danger to the standing crop and also resulting in the flow of waste water into Sahibi River.

Having regard to the issue which has been raised in the complaint and also considering the fact that the complaint does not disclose that any competent authority has earlier applied its mind on the issue, we deem it proper and accordingly dispose of the OA requiring the Member Secretary, Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) to duly consider the grievance raised in the letter petition and take appropriate remedial measures in accordance with law. The action taken report be submitted before the Registrar General of the Tribunal within three months by e-mail at [email protected] preferably in the form of searchable PDF/OCR Support PDF and not in the form of Image PDF. If found necessary, the matter will be listed before the Bench for consideration.

A copy of this order, along with copy of the letter petition, be forwarded to the Member Secretary, HSPCB by e-mail for compliance.

The OA is accordingly disposed of.
