Judgment
The writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondent authorities in demolishing the structures in the building raised by the petitioner in the premises bearing H.No.22-1-520, Sultanpura, Noorkhan Bazar, Hyderabad, pursuant to the impugned rejection order dated 04.08.2026 passed by the respondent No.2 and without considering pendency of appeal filed by the petitioner on 11.08.2026 challenging the rejection order dated 04.08.2026.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. R. Venkatesh, learned standing counsel for the respondents No.2 to 4 – GHMC.
Learned standing counsel for GHMC submitted that the appeal filed by the petitioner will be decided in accordance with law.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.1 to dispose of the appeal within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Until such exercise is completed, status quo, obtaining as on today, shall be maintained in respect of H.No.22-1-520, Sultanpura, Noorkhan Bazar, Hyderabad.
The miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as costs.
