Judgment
This Writ Petition is filed alleging interference by respondents No.3 and 4 with the petitioners' life and liberty by calling them to the Police Station without there being any written complaint against them from respondents No.5 and 6.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, appearing for respondents No.1 to 4.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home has furnished a copy of the written instructions received by him and submitted that a complaint was lodged against the petitioners on 15.07.2026 and, upon conducting an enquiry into the same, it was found to be civil in nature and that no criminal offence was made out. Therefore, the complaint was closed on 21.07.2026 as civil in nature, and the enquiry report to that effect was submitted to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nagarkurnool. It is further submitted that, except for conducting the said enquiry, there was no harassment or interference by the respondent-police.
In view of the above, the Writ Petition is closed with an observation that, in the absence of any complaint against the petitioners, the respondent-police shall not call the petitioners to the Police Station.
With the above observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
