Judgment
Mr. M. Arun Kumar, learned standing counsel for GHMC and Mr. R. Sameer Ahmed, learned standing counsel for HYDRAA, submitted that the encroachments and unauthorized shops made on the public footpath at Ghode Ki Khabar, Opp. Laxman Idly Tiffin Central, Mangalhat, Goshamahal, Hyderabad, will be removed by following due process of law.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is delay on the part of GHMC in removing the encroachments and the same resulted in illegal construction of commercial mulgies over public footpath.
In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned standing counsel, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3 to act upon the complaint of the petitioner dated 09.03.2026 for removing encroachments/unauthorized shops, by issuing notice to the petitioner, respondent No.7 - Wakf Board and the respondents No.8 and 9 and pass orders in accordance with law. As this order is passed without entering into the merits of the matter, notice to respondents No.8 and 9 is dispensed with. However, the respondents No.8 and 9, if, in any manner, aggrieved by this order, they are at liberty to seek modification of this order.
The miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as costs.
