Judgment
Grievance in this application is against violation of environmental norms by Respondent No. 1 – Mittal Tulip City, a private limited company, Villa No. 2562, Sector 17 near Presidium School, REWALI (90), ENGG College Murthal, Sonepat, Haryana. It is stated that the said respondent has started illegal factory for manufacturing construction material, including interlocking cement blocks used for pavements and paths. The said respondent has dug up 10 underground water bores to extract groundwater illegally. The said respondent has also cut down 45 trees which were planted by the applicant. Cement block factory is resulting in air pollution and adversely affecting the trees in the adjoining temple premises. It is also causing dust problem in the area.
The matter was last considered on 20.07.2022 in the light of factual report furnished by the State PCB and the District Magistrate, Sonepat to the effect that no violations were found. The same was directed to be further cross checked by District Magistrate, Sonepat and Member Secretary, State PCB.
Accordingly, further reports of District Magistrate, Sonepat and State CPCB have been filed confirming the earlier report.
In view of above, no further appears to be necessary.
