Grievance in this application is against violation of environmental norms by the respondent Banvari Lal in running a factory in residential area at A-752, Agar Nagar III, Prem Nagar, Kirari, Nagloi, Delhi -110086, without requisite consents. The applicant has further stated that North Delhi Municipal Corporation, SDM and local police have failed to take remedial action in spite of applicant filing representations. The applicant has relied upon order of this Tribunal dated 24.01.2019 in OA No. 601/2018, Mayank Manohar and Paras Singh, Reporter Times of India v. Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Ors. and judgment of the Supreme Court in M.C. Mehta v. Union of India (2004) 6 SCC 588, prohibiting operation of a factory in violation of Master Plan, in a residential area.

Vide order dated 03.09.2021, the Tribunal constituted a joint Committee of North Delhi Municipal Corporation, SDM (Rohini/HQ), Kanjhawala, Delhi, DPCC and DCP, North-West Delhi to verify facts and to give a report.

In pursuance of above, report has been filed by the DPCC on 15.03.2022 to the effect that no such industrial activity was found at the time of inspection by the joint Committee. There is no contest on the said report.

In view of above, no further order appears to be necessary.

The Application is disposed of.
