M. Jaichandren, J.—This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to produce the detenu, namely, Selvaraj, son of the petitioner, before this Court and to set him at liberty. The petitioner has stated that his son, namely, Selvaraj, has been running two share market commission agencies, at Dindigul and Tirupur. The detenu has been missing, from 19.10.2011. Therefore, the petitioner has made a complaint before the second respondent, on 23.10.2011. Since, the second respondent had failed to take effective steps to trace the detenu, the petitioner has approached this Court, by filing the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 had submitted that a case would be registered, based on the complaint made by the petitioner, on 23.10.2011. He had also stated that effective steps would be taken to trace the detenu, as expeditiously as possible. In view of the said submissions, made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, this Court finds that no further orders are necessary in this Habeas Corpus Petition. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
