M. Jaichandren, J.—This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed stating that Garden Noble Samuel, the elder brother of the petitioner, has been missing, from 12.11.2011. Therefore, the petitioner had filed a complaint before the second respondent police, on 17.4.2012. The said complaint had been registered on the file of the second respondent, in Crime No. 134/2012, as a "man missing" case. Thereafter, the second respondent has been investigating the matter. The petitioner has further stated that Garden Noble Samuel has been mentally ill and therefore, he had been missing, from 12.11.2011. In such circumstances, the petitioner has preferred the present Habeas corpus Petition before this Court to trace the missing person. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that all necessary steps are being taken to trace the missing person. As the missing person is stated to be mentally ill, the respondents have not been in a position to trace him, till date. However, he had submitted that all necessary steps would be taken to trace the missing person, as expeditiously as possible.
