Judgment
Ambuj Nath, J
Heard the parties.
Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ratu P.S. Case No.
109 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri Raj Kumar Pandey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi.
Between the intervening period of 19 / 20.03.2024, brother-in-law of the Informant Rahul Sharma was murdered. During the course of investigation, it came to light that this petitioner who is also informant of this case, was having illicit relationship with the wife of the deceased and he had got the deceased murdered.
Implication of the petitioner is on the basis of information given by unknown person. It further appears that the petitioner has confessed his guilt, but nothing incriminating has been recovered on the basis of his confession.
It was submitted that co-accused Avinash Sharma has been granted bail by this court in B.A. 7048 of 2024 and the case of this petitioner stands on similar footing.
Considering the aforesaid facts, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Raj Kumar Pandey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi in connection with Ratu P.S. Case No. 109 of 2024.
