Judgment

Heard the parties.
Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Palkot P.S. Case No. 28 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 518 of 2024 for the offences registered under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla.
On 12.06.2024, dead body of the wife of the petitioner Holika Kumari was found in Tapkara Forest. Sharp cutting injuries were found on the person of the deceased. Suspicion was raised upon the petitioner that he might have committed the murder of the deceased.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was married to the deceased eleven years ago. It was further submitted that apart from suspicion, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record.
In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla in connection with Palkot P.S. Case No. 28 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 518 of 2024.
