Alleging that respondents Nos.2 and 3 are entertaining oral complaints of money disputes and are pressuring the petitioner to compromise or make the payment, failing which the petitioner would be implicated in a criminal case, this writ petition has been filed.

2.

Heard Mr. Syed Hassan Bin Taher, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri D. Pradeep, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, appearing for respondents Nos.1 to 4.

3.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submitted that on 12.09.2026, one Deepti Tammali, resident of Banjara Hills, submitted a complaint to respondent No.2 stating that an amount of Rs.5,54,450/-, including interest, was due and payable to her by the petitioner and that, despite her repeated requests and follow-ups, the petitioner has not paid the said amount. It is submitted that the petitioner was called to the police station only for the purpose of making enquiries, but the petitioner did not appear and is not cooperating with the enquiry. It is further submitted that, after the enquiry, action will be taken in accordance with law. A copy of the complaint submitted by Deepti Tammali is also enclosed along with the written instructions.

4.

In view of the same, this Court finds that there is a dispute with regard to payment of money. As such, the respondent police are directed not to call the petitioner to the police station for settlement of a money dispute and shall take action on the complaint of Ms.Deepti strictly in accordance with law.

5.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
