Judgment
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Services-I appearing for the respondents. Perused the material on record.
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Services-I produced the Show Cause Notice issued to the petitioner by the respondent No.3 vide Rc.No.RJDIE-SER2/SMJL/I/2025-SER-2 dated 19.08.2026 and submits that the respondent No.3 had withdrawn the present impugned Show Cause Notice dated 06.08.2026. In view of the same, the cause in the Writ Petition no longer survives for adjudication.
Learned Government Pleader for Services-I further submits that the respondent authorities will follow the procedure contemplated under law in pursuance of the said Show-Cause Notice dated 19.08.2026 and in view of the same, requested this Court to pass appropriate orders.
On the other hand, the learned counsel for the petitioner did not dispute the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader for Services-I with regard to the Show Cause Notice issued to the petitioner dated 19.08.2026 and seeks liberty for the petitioner to pursue the remedies available in accordance with law.
In view of the submissions made by both sides, the Writ Petition is closed by granting liberty to the petitioner to pursue the remedies available in law pursuant to the Show-Cause Notice vide Rc.No.RJDIE-SER2/SMJL/I/2025-SER-2 dated 19.08.2026.
Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. There shall be no orders as to costs.
