Heard Sri M.Siva Prasad, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Addl. Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Additional Government Pleader for Home on instructions would submit that the petitioner himself presented a report and police conducted preliminary enquiry, and during preliminary enquiry, they asked the petitioner to attend at the police station. Their preliminary enquiry revealed that it is a civil dispute, and they will not interfere in such disputes in the light of law, and police will follow due process of law.

The submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader for Home are placed on record.

In the light of submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for Home, this Court is of the considered opinion that no further orders are required in this writ petition, and it can be closed at the stage of admission, without going into merits of the case.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed at the stage of admission. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
