Application is registered based on a complaint received by Email
ORDER
The grievances made in the present application filed by Mr. Jai Prakash Sharma resident of Attri Niwas, Opposite B R College of Education, Akash Nagar Colony, Salarpur Road, Kurukshetra are that M/s Shiv Shakti Steel Workshop is being run opposite B.R. College of Education, Salarpur Road, Akash Nagar, Kurukshetra in violation of environmental norms causing air and noise pollution and posing serious health hazards to the inhabitants of the above said area.
The averments made in the application require due factual verification and immediate remedial action on the basis thereof. We, accordingly, constitute Joint Committee of Haryana State Pollution Control Board and Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra and direct the same to verify the factual position, look into the grievances of the applicant and take remedial action in accordance with law by following due process within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The State PCB will be the nodal agency for co-ordination and compliance.
Factual and action taken report, which may also cover the aspects of compliance with CTE/CTO conditions and siting criteria, as applicable, may be furnished within two months by e-mail at judicial- [email protected] preferably in the form of searchable PDF/OCR Support PDF and not in the form of Image PDF, before the Ld. Registrar General, National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi who may, if necessary, put up the matter before the Bench for further directions.
The application is disposed of with the above said directions.
A copy of this order, along with a copy of the complaint, be forwarded to the Haryana State Pollution Control Board and Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra by e-mail for compliance.
