Original Application No. 16/2023 was registered on the basis of letter petition by one of the residents of H. No. B-1757/16, Lankapuri, Hanuman Gali, Shashtri Nagar, Delhi-110052 raising a grievance that in the residential area several industrial units were running and were emitting polluted air, causing air pollution, affecting local people and creating health hazards.
The Tribunal by order dated 22.02.2023 had formed a joint Committee with a direction to the Committee to look into the matter, visit the site, collect relevant information and submit a factual and action taken, if any, report. The OA was disposed of with further direction that if found necessary the matter may be placed before the Bench.
On the basis of the report of the joint Committee dated 16.05.2023, present MA No. 84/2023 has been registered. The report reflects that three units were found to be operating illegally without any license from the Government Department in the area concerned and action has already been initiated against those three units.
Since the necessary action has been initiated, therefore, nothing further is required to be done in the matter by the Tribunal.
MA is accordingly disposed of.
