The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ, order or direction preferably a writ in the nature of CERTIORARI for quashing and setting aside the impugned revised tentative ranking list of Engineering Subordinates dated 09.01.2023 (Annexure P-1) to the extent that the name of the petitioner has wrongly been mentioned after the names of private respondents No.3 to 7 and with a further prayer to direct respondents No.1 and 2 to place the name of the petitioner above private respondent No.3, namely, Vipin Kumar, who passed BE/AMIE on 27.06.2005 and below Manoj Kumar Pannu, whose name is placed at ranking No.104 with all consequential benefits of deemed date of promotion from the date private respondent No.6 was promoted alongwith fixation/re-fixation of pay and arrears thereof and interest on arrears therein in a time bound manner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had served a legal notice dated 10.08.2023 (Annexure P-8) to respondents No.1 and 2 with regard to placing his name at the correct serial number in the ranking list of Engineering Subordinates dated 09.01.2023 along with all consequential benefits arising thereof but the same has not been considered and decided till date. He further submitted that at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case the aforesaid legal notice dated 10.08.2023 (Annexure P-8) is considered and decided by respondents No.1-MD/CMD, DHBVN, Vidyut Sadan, Vidyut Nagar, Hisar, Haryana in accordance with law and in a time bound manner.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Samarth Sagar, Addl. A. G., Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2. He submitted that in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, he has no objection in case time bound direction is issued in this regard.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, without calling for the reply from respondents No.1 and 2 and without expressing anything on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1-MD/CMD, DHBVN, Vidyut Sadan, Vidyut Nagar, Hisar, Haryana to consider and decide the legal notice of the petitioner dated 10.08.2023 (Annexure P-8) strictly in accordance with law and within a period of two months from today.
