Judgment

This Contempt case is filed alleging that the respondents did not implement the order dated 02.07.2019in OA No. 1371/2018. This Tribunal directed
that the payment of Pension and other amounts referable to the deceased (first applicant). The contempt case has undergone certain adjournments.
On 14.01.2021, it was directed that the amount payable to the deceased employee shall be kept in the fixed deposit (FD) of the child, by name Baby
Priya Who is shown as the second applicant.
Today, it is brought to our notice that a sum of Rs.14,37,681/- has been kept in FDR in the name of Baby Priya till she attained the age of majority.
We close the CP directing that the FDR shall be handed over to the guardian of Baby Priya by name Mr. Harish, the guardian and Maternal Uncle
of Baby Priya on being identified by Mr. AnuragPratap, learned counsel for applicants.
The manner in which the interest accrued on the FDR must be spent would be decided by the concerned Court where the guardianship proceedings
are said to be pending. Till such time no amount from the FDR The shall be withdrawn for whatever reason respondents shall put an endorsement on
the FDR to the extent that the FDR shall under no circumstances be encashed till the minor attains the age of majority.
The CP is closed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
