This application seeks execution of order of this Tribunal dated 17.10.2019 in OA No. 103/2019, Amarpal Singh vs. State of Uttar Pradesh as follows:

“With reference to the allegation that the passage to the ponds had been illegally encroached upon resulting in flooding of Village Sadullapur/Chandpura Pargana-Sarava, Tehsil and District Meerut with effluents, a report was sought from the District Magistrate, Meerut vide order dated 25.03.2019. Report filed on 16.09.2019 is to the effect that requisite action for removing the encroachment is being taken which is likely to be completed within next month.”

According to the applicant, inspite of the said order, encroachment is not being removed though about three years have passed.

Having regard to the above, we direct the District Magistrate, Meerut to look into the matter and take remedial action in accordance with law within one month.

The application is disposed of.

I.A. No. 113/2022 will also stand disposed of.
