The Registry’s Note dated 12.08.2022 states that the appellant made a complaint to the police authorities with regard to the alleged forgery of her signature on the second Vakalatnama filed before the Trial Court. Pursuant thereto, the Investigating Officer requested that the original Vakalatnama purportedly filed by the appellant before the Trial Court should be handed over to him for the purpose of investigation.
The learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Imphal East, is permitted to retain a photocopy of both the Vakalatnamas filed on behalf of the appellant before the Trial Court and handover the originals thereof to the Investigating Officer under proper acknowledgment. The same shall be returned to the Trial Court in due course of time.
Mr. LN. Ngamba, learned counsel, appears for the appellant.
Mr. Ajitkevin, learned counsel for the respondents, states that he was served with a copy of a Death Certificate, in relation to the prayer of the appellant in MC (RFA) No. 1 of 2021, and seeks time to get instructions.
