Judgment

Heard Sh. Padma Kumar S., learned counsel for the applicants.
The applicants herein, are retired employees of Deptt of Revenue, CBEC, Ministry of Finance. They are aggrieved with certain pay fixation, which was granted to one Sri M. Subramanian, a similarly place employee, as ordered by Hon’ble High Court of Madras vide judgment Dt. 6.9.2010. They claim similar benefit, being identically placed.
They have preferred certain representations also to the respondents in this regard, which are not decided yet. The OA has been filed accordingly.
Learned counsel for the applicants pleaded that they will be satisfied at this stage, if direction can be issued to the respondents to pass a reasoned and speaking order on those pending representations within a reasonable time.
In view of the foregoing, the present OA is disposed off at the admission stage itself, without going into the merits of the case, with a direction to the respondents to pass a reasoned and speaking order, within a period of three months on the pending representations, under advice to applicants.
Pending MAs, if any, also stand disposed off accordingly.
There shall be no orders as to costs.
