Judgment
Order:
Mr. Ravi Kondaveeti, learned counsel for the petitioner appears in virtual mode.
Petitioner, who was working as typist in the office of the Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, has preferred the instant Writ Petition seeking the following relief:
"...to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the Proceedings No.66/2018, dated 5-7-2018 issued by Presiding Officer, Labour Court-III, reverting the Petitioner as Typist and posting him as Typist in Labour Court-III in the existing vacancy and the Proceedings No.67/2018, dated 6-7-2018 issued by the Presiding Officer, Labour Court-III, Hyderabad, repatriating the petitioner to parent department i.e. A.P. State Legal Services Authority as wholly illegal, arbitrary, non application of mind and violative of Articles, 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and without jurisdiction and consequently declare that the petitioner is entitled to be continued as Superintendent in the Office of Labour Court-III, Hyderabad and pass such other order or further order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner submits, on instructions, that the petitioner has superannuated on 28.02.2026. Therefore, the cause of action does not survive.
In view of the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, stand closed.
