Judgment
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and Mr. B. Jithender, learned standing counsel for respondent No.8.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submitted that pursuant to acquittal of the petitioners in CC.No.3150 of 2019 in the Court of the Principal Junior Civil Judge- cum-VIII Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally, Cyberabad, by judgment dated 04.01.2021, the Inspector of Police, Chandanagar Police Station, addressed letter to the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, on 03.12.2021 requesting to close the LOC issued against the petitioners. Copy of the said letter is annexed to the counter affidavit filed by the respondent No.7. However, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home requested time to get further instructions to find out whether the LOC opened against the petitioners is still continuing.
Taking note of the fact of acquittal of the petitioners in the CC.No.3150 of 2019 and letter dated 03.12.2021, the writ petition is allowed. The LOC opened against the petitioner in connection with Cr.No.477 of 2015 of Chandangar Police Station, shall be cancelled by the respondent - police authorities, if so far not done.
The miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as costs.
