The original petition is filed to direct the Court of Principal Munsiff, Thiruvananthapuram, to consider and dispose of O.S. No.1218/2017, within a time frame.
Pursuant to the order dated 05.07.2022 passed by this Court, the learned Ist Additional Munsiff, Thiruvananthapuram, by communication dated 13.07.2022, has informed this Court that the above suit can be disposed of within a period of eight months.
Heard; Sri.Anil Kumar M, the learned the counsel appearing for the petitioner. Even though notice has been served on the counsel appearing for the respondents before the court below, there is no representation for them.
In the light of the pleadings and materials on record, hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also after perusing the communication of the learned Ist Additional Munsiff, Thiruvananthapuram, in exercise of the supervisory jurisdiction of this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, I direct the Court of the Ist Additional Munsiff, Thiruvananthapuram, to consider and dispose of O.S. No.1218/2017, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the judgment.
