By filing this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:-

"(i)

For a direction commanding upon the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.7,56,27,579.00 to the petitioner, as the petitioner has supplied the materials pursuant to Notice Inviting Tender contained in P.R. No.160979 (Agriculture) 2017-18 (D) dated 20.04.2017 (Annexure-1), P.R. No.188213 (Agriculture) 2018-19 (D) dated 12.7.2018 (Annexure-1/1) and P.R. No.208466 Agriculture (2019-20) D dated 11.06.2019 (Annexure-1/2) issued on 20.4.2017, 12.7.2018 and 11.06.2019 respectively, which was earlier not paid for want of allotment of fund, but later on, despite allotment of fund, by Letter No.04/Kri.Ke.Yo.-07/2018-53 dated 27.12.2021 (Annexure-15) and Letter No.04/Kri.Ke.Yo.-07/2018 54 dated 27.12.2021 (Annexure-16), the same was allowed to lapse on 31.03.2021.

To also direct the respondents to pay the interest at the rate of 9% per annum on the admissible dues which was payable to the petitioner with effect the date the same was payable till the date of its actual payment.

Heard learned counsel representing the petitioner and learned counsel representing the respondents.

The petitioner - Firm is claiming admitted contractual dues to the tune of Rs.7,56,27,579/-.

In para-16 of the counter affidavit filed by the respondent - State, it has been stated that the Work Orders were issued in favour of the petitioner - Firm, under the Targeting Rice Fallow Area (TRFA), for supply in the Districts of Ranchi, Palamu, Dumka and Chaibasa, cost of which is amounting to Rs.6,94,80,654/-.

Further, in para-17, it has been mentioned that a total sum of Rs.5,64,43,310/-, has already been paid to the petitioner -Firm by the District Agriculture Officer of Ranchi and Palamu. Receipt of this amount is also not disputed by the petitioner - Firm.

So far as payment of the amount of Rs.1,30,37,344/-, is concerned, in para-19 of the counter affidavit, the respondent -State has stated that the petitioner - Firm is required to submit the requisite documents justifying its claim before the concerned District Agriculture Officer, and only thereupon the payment can be made by the Authorities.

Considering the aforesaid averments made in para-19 of the counter affidavit, I direct the petitioner - Firm to furnish all the documents of the respective Districts, justifying its claim for payment of Rs.1,30,37,344/-.

Once the said documents are furnished, the State Authorities after due authentication and verification of the same, will disburse the balance amount to the petitioner - Firm.

5.2.

It is expected that the entire process should be completed within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of all the documents furnished by the petitioner - Firm.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
