Since these five bail applications arise out of one and same case record, the same are heard together and disposed of by this common order with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties.

These are the bail applications U/S.483 of BNSS by the petitioners for grant of bail in connection with Sheragada PS Case No.81 of 2026 corresponding to GR Case No.94 of 2026 pending in the file of learned JMFC, Sheragada, for commission of offences punishable U/S.191/192/126(2)/115(2)/118(1)/351(2)/109(1)/190 of BNS r/w Sections 25(1-B)/27 of Arms Act on the main allegation of rioting, along with co-accused persons being armed with deadly weapons and attempting to the life of the injured Krushna Chandra Nayak by assaulting him.

Heard Mr.Santosh Kumar Mahanty, learned counsel for the petitioners in BLAPL Nos. 3831, 5937, 7442 & 7460 of 2026; Mr.Soura Chandra Mohapatra, learned Senior Counsel appearing along with Mr.Santosh Kumar Mahanty and Mr.S.Mohaptra, learned counsel for the petitioner in BLAPL No. 7442 of 2026 by filing appearance memo, which is taken on record; Mr.Jyotirmaya Sahoo, learned counsel for the petitioner in BLAPL No. 7822 of 2026 & Mr.P.Satapathy, learned Addl. PP in the matter and perused the record. Mr.Satyabrata Mohanty, learned counsel appearing for the informant in BLAPL Nos. 3831 & 5937 of 2026 seriously opposes the bail application of the petitioners.

After having considered the rival submissions and taking into consideration the nature and gravity of the offences as alleged against the petitioners vis-à-vis the accusations sought to be brought against them and regard being had to the pre-trial detention of the petitioners in custody with submission of charge sheet in the meantime and taking into account the two injuries sustained by the injured which are opined to be simple and grievous in nature and can be caused by blunt object, and taking into account the other circumstances on record in entirety including the inherent right of the accused-petitioners to be presumed innocent until proven guilty at the trial, this Court without expressing any view on merit admits the each of petitioners to bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioners stand allowed and each of these petitioners is allowed to go on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.50,000/-(Rupees Fifty Thousand Lakh) with two solvent sureties each for the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Court in seisin of the case on such terms and conditions as deem fit and proper by it with following condition:-

the petitioners shall co-operate the trial,

the petitioners shall not threaten, induce, influence or coerce any of the witnesses including the family members of the informant acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts before the Court.

Accordingly, these BLAPLs stand disposed of. A soft copy of this order be immediately communicated to the concerned Court, who shall afterwards communicate the same to the concerned Jail through e-mail for reference. (G. Satapathy) Judge Signature Not Verified
