Judgment
The applicant superannuated on 30.06.2017 from the post of Chief Controller serving under respondent no. 2. It is his contention that after more than three years of superannuation, though his retiral dues were paid but his gratuity was given to him on 09.01.2020 with a deduction of Rs. 1,15,604/- which has caused him considerable financial hardship. He has given representation dated 25.01.2020 to respondent no. 2 (Annexure A-6A), which has yet to be disposed of.
This matter pertains to a senior citizen. Accordingly respondent no. 2 is directed to decide the representation and take consequential follow up action within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. No order as to costs.
