Judgment

The petitioners seek a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to protect his life and liberty of the petitioners and to restrain the private respondent Nos. 4 to 8 not to harass or interefere in the peaceful life of the petitioners, with a further prayer to take appropriate legal action on representation dated 19.06.2023.
It is stated that private respondent used to harass and humiliate the wife of the petitioners, when the petitioners tried to make understand the private respondents, in this regard.
Precisely, in the context of aforesaid relief, petitioners have approached the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga-respondent No.2 by way of representation dated 19.06.2023 (Annexure P-4), but no action has been taken thereon. He submits that petitioners would be satisfied if their representation dated 19.06.2023 is decided in a time bound manner.
Notice of motion to respondent Nos.1 to 3.
On the asking of the Court, Mr. Anmol Singh Sandhu, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of the paper book, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga, to look into the representation dated 19.06.2023 (Annexure P-4) filed by the petitioners and if necessary to take appropriate action on the same, as per law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months.
