The writ petition is filed mainly with the following prayer:-
That respondents may be ordered to pay to the petitioners statutory bonus at the rate of 8.33% of their annual wages from the dates of their initial engagement on daily wage basis till their services were regularized with 12% interest thereon.
According to the petitioners, the issue is covered in their favour by the judgment of this court rendered in LPA No. 92 of 2009, dated 4.8.2010. The petitioners submit that they would file appropriate representation(s) furnishing all factual details before the competent authority within a period of one month from today. It is always open for them to do so. As and when the same are made, the second respondent/competent authority will examine the matter in the light of the judgment referred to above and take appropriate action thereon within a further period of four months from the date of the production of a copy of this judgment along with copy of the writ petition and the copy of the judgment, referred to above.
The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
