Judgment
Ajay Mohan Goel, J
By way of this petition, the petitioners have prayed for the following substantive reliefs:-
"It is, therefore, respectfully prayed that this writ petition may kindly be allowed and may further be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order and directions in favour of the Petitioner and against the Respondents to:-
i) To issue the appropriate writ and issue the direction to the respondents to grant the benefit of revised pay scale to the petitioners during the period of contractual service, and release the all monetary benefit thereof and other benefits."
A short reply has been filed to the writ petition by the respondents. In terms of the reply so filed, the stand of the respondents-State is that the department has already initiated the process of grant of appropriate relief to the petitioners in terms of the judgment being relied upon by them.
In view of said stand of the State, this writ petition is ordered to be closed with the direction that needful shall positively be done, as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 30th November, 2020.
The writ petition stands disposed of in above terms, so also pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
