Judgment
HON'BLE MR.P.MADHAVAN, JUDICIAL MEMBER The applicant has prayed for the following reliefs:
"(i)to issue appropriate order or direction to the 2 nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Annexure A3.
(ii)Grant such other and further reliefs as are just, proper and necessary or this Hon'ble Tribunal may deem fit to grant; and
(iii)Award to the applicant the costs of these proceedings."
The brief facts of the case are as follows: The applicant who is working as Fire Engine Driver (FED) in Ezhimala is aggrieved by the failure of the respondents to consider his request for being transferred to any unit in Ernakulam which is near to his home town. He submits that many vacancies of Fire Engine Drivers are due to arise in the stations in 2021.
When the matter came up for hearing, counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant will be satisfied if his representation at Annexure A-3 is disposed of on the basis of relevant rules and guidelines etc.
Counsel for the respondents Adv.Mr.C.Rajendan,SCGC submits that he has no objection in disposal of Annexure A-3 representation.
In view of the limited submission, the Competent Authority is directed to consider Annexure A-3 representation dated 28.5.2021 on the basis of relevant rules and guidelines and pass a speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The Original Application is disposed of as above. No costs.
