This Writ Petition is filed alleging inaction on the part of the respondent police in considering the representations dated 03.07.2026 and 18.07.2026 submitted by the petitioner complaining of the alleged trespass, interference, threats and obstruction caused by respondent No.6 and his henchmen in respect of the petitioner's land admeasuring Ac.0.15 guntas, comprised of Ac.0.05 guntas each in Sy.Nos.1049/AA3/2, 1049/AA4 and 1049/AA1/2, situated at Mittapally Village, Siddipet Urban Mandal, Siddipet District.
Heard Sri Raja Sripathi Rao, learned Senior Counsel representing learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, appearing for respondents No.1 to 5.
Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that respondent No.6, with the aid of the official respondents, had earlier attempted to interfere with the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject property, compelling the petitioner to file W.P.No.20265 of 2026. It is submitted that this Court, vide order dated 29.06.2026, directed respondent Nos.2 to 5 therein not to interfere with the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject property. It is further submitted that, in spite of the said order, respondent No.6 has once again attempted to interfere with the petitioner's possession over the subject property and therefore, the petitioner made representations dated 03.07.2026 and 18.07.2026 to the respondent police seeking necessary action. However, no action has been taken thereon. It is also submitted that the petitioner apprehends danger to her life and to the lives of her family members at the hands of respondent No.6.
Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner has also drawn the attention of this Court to the criminal cases stated to be pending against respondent No.6 and therefore, sought a direction to the respondent police to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner and to consider and dispose of the representations of the petitioner dated 03.07.2026 and 18.07.2026.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home sought time to obtain instructions.
Having regard to the limited relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, i.e., to consider the petitioner's representations dated 03.07.2026 and 18.07.2026, this Court deems it fit and proper to direct respondent Nos.3 and 5 to consider the said representations and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, expeditiously. Till such time, if the petitioner approaches the respondent police expressing any apprehension to her life or property, the respondent police shall respond to such request and take such preventive measures as may be warranted in accordance with law.
With the above observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
