The petition is filed aggrieved by the inaction of respondent Nos.1 to 7 in giving police protection too the petitioner’s land to an extent of Ac.0.50 cents situated in Sy.No.456/3 of Buragamanda Revenue Village, Sodaam Mandal, Chittoor District, in spite of Decree and Judgment passed in O.S.No.17 of 2021 on the file of the Court of the Principal Junior Civil Judge, Piler, Chittoor District and not taking any action against respondent No.8 as illegaal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violatiive of Article 14 and 300-A of the Connstitution of India.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had submitted a representatioon dated 07.10.2024 addressed to the District Collector, Chittoor District and also a representation dated 21.01.2023 to the Sub-Inspector of Police, Sodam Police Station, but no action has been taken by the authorities.
The petitioner apprehends danger from respondent No.8, who is allegedly a Rowdy Sheeter against whom Rowdy Sheet No.78 is being maintained at the Sodam Police Station, Chittoor District and several crimes were registered against him under various Sections of law.
The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to the letter addressed by the petitioner to the District Collector, Chittoor District, a notice was served on respondent No.8 on 01.05.2025, requiring the respondent No.8 for eviction from the dispute land, as respondent No.8 is in unauthorized occupation of the same, and further action is awaited from respondent No.5.
In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos.4 and 5 to take necessary steps in accordance with law in respect of the representations mentioned above made by the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
