Judgment

In compliance with the directions issued by this Court on 30.10.2025, Mr. Sachin Gupta, I.A.S., presently serving as Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak, has appeared before this Court. Without entering into the merits of the matter, he acknowledges the procedural lapse committed in issuing the impugned order dated 21.07.2025 and tenders his unconditional apology, which is accepted.
It is further submitted that the impugned order has since been withdrawn and a fresh enquiry has been conducted on 16.10.2025. The Department shall now proceed in accordance with law if any violation is found on the part of the petitioner.
In view of the withdrawal of the impugned order, no cause of action survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to avail appropriate statutory remedy(ies) in the event any grievance arises from action taken pursuant to the fresh enquiry.
Disposed of accordingly.
