When the matter was taken up today, counsel for the respondents has filed an M.A 425/2022 praying this Tribunal to hear and close the case at an early date as the applicant was selected to the cadre of postman for the vacancy year 2017-2018 in the competitive examination held on 04.02.2018 and she is currently working as postman at CSEZ PO. She submits that the O.A has become infructuous.

Counsel for the applicant has no objection but he submits that the matter relating to the counting of previous service for seniority of the applicant has also to be considered and that matter should be left open.

The O.A is closed with liberty to the applicant to file a fresh O.A, if required, relating to the matter of counting of the previous service for seniority.
