The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release his salary for the period from 01.07.2015 to 30.06.2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not been paid salary for about a year when he was working as a Senior Assistant in the respondent-Board. He has sent a legal notice (Annexure P4) in this regard to the respondents on 21.10.2020, but no action has been taken thereon. He further submits that respondent No. 1 may be directed to consider and decide the legal notice (Annexure P4).

Issue notice to the respondents.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Anant Kataria, DAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Heard.

Without expressing anything on the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 1 to consider and decide the legal notice dated 21.10.2020 (Annexure P4), in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
