Judgment
The present application has been filed under sections 14 and 15 of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010 complaining about illegal mining of gravel, clay and boulder being carried out in and around Kotturu Reserve Forest Area, Vijayawada Rural Mandal, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh with prayer for directions to the respondents to stop the illegal mining and restore the area.
Since the above said mining site falls with the territorial jurisdiction of the Southern Zone Bench of this Tribunal, it will be appropriate that the matter is transferred to Southern Zone Bench of this Tribunal for further consideration.
Accordingly, the original application be listed for further hearing before the Southern Zone Bench of this Tribunal on 16.10.2023.
Interim order dated 12.05.2023 shall continue till further orders to the contrary by the Southern Zone Bench of this Tribunal.
The original application be treated as disposed of so far as this Bench is concerned and the same be registered in the Southern Zone Bench of this Tribunal.
The original record be sent immediately to the Southern Zone Bench of this Tribunal and Photostat copy thereof be retained for record of the Principal Bench.
