The applicant filed O.A. No 358/2020 in relation to medical reimbursement. The O.A. was disposed of on 06.02.2020 with a direction to the respondents to pass orders on the representation submitted by him. This contempt case is filed alleging that the respondents did not comply with the order passed in O.A. No.358/2020.
In the reply, the respondents stated that the order was passed on 01.05.2020, rejecting the claim of the applicant, thereby the order in the O.A. stood complied with.
The only direction issued in the O.A. was that the respondents shall pass order on the representation submitted by the applicant. It appears that the applicant was not aware of the fact that an order, in fact, was passed on 01.05.2020. If he is not satisfied with the said order, he can pursue the remedy in accordance with rules.
We, therefore, close the C.P., leaving it open to the applicant to pursue remedies vis-à-vis the order dated 01.05.2020, if he so intends. No costs.
