The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a duplicate Patta in the place of Ext.P2, a true copy of which has been produced by the petitioner in this writ petition.
The learned Government Pleader submits that an order has been issued on 28.10.2020 giving guidelines to be followed for issuance of such duplicate Pattas where the files have been lost.
This writ petition is hence disposed of directing the 4th respondent – Tahsildar to consider Ext.P6 application and inform the petitioner as to the requirements which he has to satisfy for meeting the guidelines which has been issued by the Government on 28.10.2020 in Government Order bearing No.3329/2020/Revenue and subsequent Circular issued in the year 2021. On being informed about these requirements, the petitioner may comply with the requirements and thereafter the 4th respondent shall initiate action for issuance of the duplicate Patta at the earliest at any rate within two months from the date of compliance with the requirements.
