Judgment

The petitioner in the instant writ petition is the wife of the deceased employee who was initially appointed on adhoc basis as Game Watcher in the year 1988. The grievance of the petitioner is that the services of her Late husband were never regularized and that he has since expired on 21-06-2017. As such, prayer is made for regularization of the deceased employee along with grant of terminal benefits to the petitioner as admissible.
The state respondents vide affidavit do not dispute this fact and it is also stated therein that proposals have been sent for regularization of the deceased employee since 1988.
Today, Mr. S.Sengupta, learned Addl. Sr. GA appearing for the state respondents has produced a letter dated 26-04-2022 indicating that the Late husband of the petitioner has been approved by the Cabinet for regularization.
Considering this development, nothing remains for consideration before this Court. The entire process for regularization and release of the terminal benefits to the petitioner should be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
Petitioner undertakes to cooperate fully with the concerned department.
Accordingly, matter stands disposed of.
