Judgment
H.S. Thangkhiew, J
Heard Mr. S.Wahlang, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.H.Kharwanlang, learned GA for the state respondents.
The prayer of the petitioner in this writ petition is for regularisation of his service which has been pending. The petitioner has since retired on 31-08-2019 and neither regularisation has been affected, nor his retiral service benefits been accorded to him. It is noted that the petitioner has been in service since 17-03-1988 after his initial appointment as Forester – 1.
The state respondents in their affidavit at para 5 has categorically stated that the proposal for regularisation of the petitioner and other adhoc employees has already been taken up by the respondents since 25-09-2018 and the service book and personal documents of the petitioner has also been prepared and sent to respondent No. 10.
In view of the averments as made out in the affidavit, it appears that what remains to be done is with the respondents themselves considering the fact that the petitioner has already since retired after more than thirty years of service.
Accordingly, considering the statements in the said affidavit, this matter is closed with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the case of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
