W.P.(C) No.32417 of 2011

2.

This petition is restored vide order passed today in CMAPL No.117 of 2022.

3.

It is seen that the prayer in the present petition is for a quashing of an order dated 11th November, 2011 of the Licensing Officer-cum-DFO, Bhadrak Wildlife Division, Chandbali declining the prayer of the writ Petitioner to renew the licence to operate the saw mill in question.

4.

During the pendency of the writ petition, there was no interim order. In fact, the petition was listed just once on 26th September, 2013 when notice was not issued. Consequently, the Court is not convinced that any cause of action survives for the L.Rs. of the Petitioner to pursue. In the event, any cause of action survives, it will be open to the L.Rs. of the Petitioner to agitate the grievance in a separate substantive petition in accordance with law.

5.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
