Judgment
Heard Mr. S.V. Akarsh, learned counsel for the petitioners; Mr. Putta Krishna Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Municipalities, appearing for respondent Nos.3 and 4, and perused the material available on record.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos.3 and 4 submitted that notices were issued to the petitioners directing them to furnish the relevant documents for verification in connection with the proposed road widening from Railway Station to old NH9 Bhavani Mandir Road in Zaheerabad Municipality. It is submitted that the petitioners need not have any apprehension of unlawful dispossession and that if any portion of their property is required for the purpose of road widening, due process of law will be followed.
Learned counsel for the petitioners placed reliance on the order dated 24.09.2026 passed in W.P. No. 32333 of 2026 in identical circumstances.
In view of the above submissions, the writ petition is disposed of, directing respondent Nos.3 and 4 not to interfere with the possession and enjoyment of the petitioners over the subject properties bearing H.Nos.3-5-192, 3-5-193, 1-5-81 situated at Bhavani Mandir Road, Zaheerabad, Sangareddy District, and H.No.3-5-190 & 3-5-191 situated at Hanuman Mandir Road, Zaheerabad, Sangareddy District, without following due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this writ petition stand closed.
