Justice L. Narasimha Reddy, Chairman :-
This OA is filed by the applicant, feeling aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in finalising the process of his appointment. It is stated that the applicant secured a meritorious rank which enables her to be appointed to the post of PGT (Hindi) (Female).
We heard Shri Yogesh Sharma, learned counsel for the applicant and Ms. Esha Mazumdar, learned counsel for R.Nos. 1 and 2 and Sh. Anuj Kumar Sharma, learned counsel for R. No. 3.
The delay in processing the case of the applicant occurred on account of forwarding the dossier to the user department. We expressed our displeasure about the entire episode in our order dated 29.07.2020. Today, it is represented that the applicant has been issued offer of appointment.
In view of this, the OA is closed. It is axiomatic that the appointment of the applicant and fixation of her seniority shall be strictly in accordance with law and the ranking assigned to her by the Selecting Agency. The user deparmnt shall not further delay the issuance of order of appointment or joining of duty. There shall be no order as to costs.
