The applicant’s father joined the services of the respondents as Constable. He died in harness on 20.11.2014. It is also submitted that the mother of the applicant left the house and deserted the applicant and her whereabouts are not known till date. By filing this OA, the applicant is seeking a direction to the respondents to grant family pension in her favour w.e.f. the date of death of her deceased father.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that in this behalf the applicant has made various representations to the respondents and the same are still pending.

Heard Mr. A.K. Trivedi, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. H.A. Khan, learned counsel for the respondents, at the stage of admission, through video conferencing.

At the outset, Mr. A.K. Trivedi, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant will be satisfied, if her latest representation dated 26.07.2021 to the respondents, is considered and decided by the respondents in a time bound manner. To such request of learned counsel for the applicant, there is no objection from Mr. H.A. Khan, learned counsel for the respondents.

Accordingly, without going into the merits of the case, the present OA is disposed of, at the admission stage itself, with a direction to the respondents to decide the latest representation of the applicant dated 26.07.2021 by passing a reasoned and speaking order, as early as possible, and in any case not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This shall be done without any prejudice to the rights of the respondents. There shall be no order as to costs.
