Judgment
With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
Aggrieved by the action of respondent No.3 in not considering the online Slot Booking and Advisory Application No.2600425147 dated 29.6.2026, in respect of Sale Deed presented by the petitioner, the present Writ Petition is filed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner secured a valid online slot in accordance with the procedure contemplated under the Telangana Bhu Bharati (Record of Rights in Land) Act, 2025 (for short 'the Act') and the Rules framed thereunder, the Registering Authority is not completing the registration process, without assigning any reasons.
Learned Government Pleader submits that the official authorities will act strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the Rules framed thereunder.
Having regard to the submissions made above, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to respondent No.3 to receive and process the document presented by the petitioner as per the Slot Booking and Advisory Application No.2600425147 dated 29.6.2026, in accordance with law, subject to petitioner complying with the provisions of the Act, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It will be open to the Registering Authority to refuse the document presented before him, if he has any objection, duly assigning reasons in support of such decision and communicate the said decision to the petitioner. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case as to the entitlement of the petitioner to get the subject document registered.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
