O R D E R :

With the consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

Heard Sri K. Buchi Babu, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for the respondents.

Aggrieved by the action of respondent No.3 in refusing to register the Gift Deed presented by the petitioners in respect of subject land i.e., the agriculture land admeasuring Ac.1.2550 guntas in Sy.No.112/U/3, situated at Vasala Marri village, Thurkapally Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District, (hereinafter referred to as “the subject property”), pursuant to Slot Booking and Advisory dated 31.07.2026, despite receiving the requisite stamp duty, registration fee and other charges, the present Writ Petition is filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though the petitioners secured a valid online slot in accordance with the procedure contemplated under the Telangana Bhu Bharati (Record of Rights in Land) Rules, 2025 (for short, “the Rules”) and paid the requisite stamp duty and registration charges through e-Challan bearing No.REG2600546187, the Registering Authority is not completing the registration process.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the official respondents will act in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made above, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3- Tahsildar to consider the online application submitted by the petitioners vide Slot Booking and Advisory Application No. 2600515253 dated 31.07.2026 and to receive and process the documents presented by the petitioners pursuant thereto, in accordance with law, subject to the petitioners complying with the provisions of the Rules, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It will be open to the Registering Authority to refuse the documents presented before him, if he has any objection, after assigning reasons for such refusal and communicate the same to the petitioners. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case as to the entitlement of the petitioners to get the subject documents registered.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
