Heard M/s. Uzair Ahmed Khan, learned counsel for the petitioners; and Mr. M. Arun Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for GHMC, appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 5, and perused the material available on record.

Learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 5 submitted that on the complaint lodged by the neighbour of the petitioners, show cause notice No. 820/4/TPS/W12/C33/GZ/GHMC/2026 dated 24.07.2026 was issued to the petitioners, as it was found that the petitioners have erected columns for construction of Stilt floor in deviation to the sanctioned plan. It is further submitted that the date of hearing has been fixed as 30.07.2026 and that appropriate orders will be passed after hearing both parties.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of, directing respondent No.4 - Deputy Commissioner, GHMC, Mehdipatnam, Circle-33, Hyderabad, to pass orders in accordance with law pursuant to the show cause notice dated 24.07.2026, by affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and the complainant. As long as the petitioners carry out the construction strictly in accordance with the sanctioned plan, the respondent authorities shall not interfere with the construction activity undertaken by the petitioners. Respondent No.4 is directed to ensure that the construction undertaken by the petitioners in the subject property is in accordance with the sanctioned plan. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
